Babies are more capable than we think. They are learning and growing when staring at the ceiling fan. They are learning about trust when they cry or fuss and you comfort them.
When we understand babies are thinking and feeling little people with their own temperament, preferences, and priorities, we are better able to understand them. And when you understand your baby, it’s easier to give her what she needs.
Forget the flashcards, guilt, and confusion. Learn to pause and read your baby to better understand her. She’ll let you know how you’re doing.
